Therapy can be beneficial for anybody. It is believed that at a point in their life every individual may go through difficulties in certain areas of their lives and experience a range of psychological issues. They may need a trusted space and someone to talk to.

Therapy helps a person to explore, understand and be aware of the underlying factors of an issue they are dealing with. This understanding and awareness help to make informed choices for a change. Therapy is not just for individuals in crisis or distress but also for people who seek to understand an issue in more depth.

Therapy is a process in which you describe your current situation and your feelings to a therapist who then uses their expertise to help you understand your issues so you can work towards a change.

Most times, the length of therapy would depend on the individual’s need and circumstances. There would be an initially agreed number of sessions, approximately six sessions and this will be regularly reviewed.

In the first session we will explore and discuss your goals and outcomes you want to achieve. Then we would explain how therapy can help and what is involved in the process. You can then decide whether or not you would want to proceed.

Therapy can be provided on phone, skype and zoom. Also, face to face counselling can be provided at the address on the website.
